A couple week ago Brady had to head to North Dakota to measure some houses. No one would go and I didn't want him going by himself since he just wanted to drive straight there and back so I went. It was a little crazy. 13 hours in a car kinda stinks I'm not gonna lie. We left at 11 that morning, stopped in Kemmer to measure another house, stopped in Spearfish S. Dakota to eat. Started calling for a hotel room when we were about 200 miles out. With no such luck we spent the night in our car. Yup. Like I said 13 hours in a car kinda stinks. Literally. We got there at 3:30 in the morning. Slept until 6. Met with Ron at 7. Left N. Dakota at 12. Drove to Casper got dinner at 9. Decided we wanted to shower so got a hotel. Fell asleep at 10. Alarm went off at 3. Decided we didn't want to leave. Slept until 6. Got on our merry way ended up in Logan at 11.
The drive sucked but it was nice to spend that time with Brady. Good thing we have smart phones. I wasn't really prepared for that drive but after I downloaded some games it was a good time! Baine stayed with the McKnights. I was a little worried but they loved it and said he was so easy. Here are some pictures.
