Here are just a few pictures from the last couple of days.  This one I took to send to Brady since he hadn't really seen the kids the night before.  They had been in bed before he got home.  I don't know why but I love the photo.  The were both playing contently in the rocks and I was just watching and said "hey you two", they both looked up right when I snapped the shot.  I just really like the picture.

Here Quincee is eating her mac n' cheese with her hands.  I've tried not to care as much about the messiness with Quincee as I did with Baine.  It took Baine until after he was 2 to even play in the dirt.  He hated messy hands and that was my fault.  It's so hard for me to watch her feed herself but I'm doing it.  Hopefully she'll not be as OCD about cleanliness as Baine is.

I took a picture of them playing together.  Quincee was singing (yelling) into the mic while Baine was making up a tune.  I actually had a video but it wouldn't upload to here.
This picture was just a reminder to me of this moment.  I know it doesn't show much but when I took this picture she was being very stubborn.  Since I'm trying to let her feed herself I handed her this granola bar, which was a mistake because I quickly regreted it and tried to take it away so I could feed her.  She screamed so I gave it back thinking, 'calm down, no big deal'.  Anyways when she was almost done I took it again to take the wrapper off and I handed it back, she started screaming at me again and was soooo ticked.  She wanted the wrapper back on it.  So now I'm at the stage where they start to get stubborn and want to do what THEY want to do.  I have a feeling she's going to be harder to control than Baine ever was.

Selfies

I got on my phone the other day and saw that Baine had been taking some selfies on the way to school.  My phone must of been on silent because I had no idea he did that until I got home from work later that evening.  I looked at my gallery because he had had my phone and I heard him telling Quincee to scoot in closer to get a picture haha!  So when I got my phone back I looked to see the pictures of him and Quincee and I also found these too.  Funny boy!

Campfire and Dinner With The Poppleton's

We've been trying so soak up the rest of this summer as much as we can.  This has been a weird summer, it's been colder, it didn't last as long.  I'm not complaining, it is what it is.  I just hate to see it go.  I love the no schedule, fly by the seat of your pants, type feel that summer brings.  I also love how you get back into the rhythm of things when fall comes and school starts.  Here's a picture of when we had our last outing and campfire up High Creek.  I'm hoping to at least sneak one more in if we can.

First Day of School

Back to school he goes!  He wanted a picture with Quincee (pwincee) but she did NOT want anything to do with it.  He was soooo excited to go until he got there and saw all of the new kids, he then looked like he wanted to bail.  That poor kid and his shyness.  I don't know how to help him with that.  I asked him after if he cried when I left and he said, "nope!  I sucked it up!"  Oh hell!!!  Look what I've taught my kid.  I couldn't stop laughing.

First Piggies and Whittier Park

Why is it that when you do a different hairstyle on your child they look older almost every single time?  I normally put one pony in Quincee's hair quite a bit and this one day I decided to put two and she looked so much bigger!  She's pretty cute.

Jodie and I took the kids to Whittier Park, since that is their favorite park to go to and ask to go constantly.  It was the afternoon before the first day of school so we decided to take them and have a picnic.  It was a good time.

Yeah I know my kid looks so white trash without his shirt on.  It seemed a bit cooler that day so he had on a long sleeved shirt and after we got there and he had been running around his face was bright red so I told him he could take it off.  I'm sure I totally got judged, but eh........who cares.

Motorcycle Ridin'

This kids begs me a couple of times a week to go ride his motocycle.  He LOVES it.  I told him they have tracks with bumps and little hills to go on.  He asks me to take him there now.  He also trys to do a wheely on his peddle bike, which he really can't even do one, but the other day I heard him ask Brady how to do one on his motorcycle.  I heard Brady tell him the TRUTH.......so hopefully he forgets what Brady said.  Last thing I need is my four year old trying to pop a wheely on his motorcycle.  Bike first buddy.

Grandma Sally's Birthday Party

So for my Mom's birthday we were going to have a bounce house but on the day of it was raining so we canceled, and went to Maddox for a quick birthday lunch.  I wanted to do the bounce house for my kids birthday's but didn't know if we'd be in our house or not to do it.  So I called my Mom and asked her what she thought about doing it for hers.  I remember a long time ago, maybe her last birthday, she said that doing something like that for her birthday sounded fun to her.  She said let's do it so I booked it and the week after her birthday it was a sunny day so we set it up and played.  The kids seemed to have a lot of fun with it.

Playing Together

When I got pregnant with Quincee a lot of people would tell me how amazing it is to watch your kids interact with eachother.  I don't know what they are smoking because I don't see how amazing it is.  They literally FIGHT all. the. time.  Quincee's scream makes me want to punch her.  Baine, well all he wants to do is wrestle and "make" her play with him.  He doesn't understand that he's just ticking her off.  Anyways 95% of the time they are fighting, and well, the other 5%, I guess you could say it's "amazing".

Anniversary Weekend

We had our 7th anniversary in August.  We had already planned to go to Lagoon that weekend with some friends and Brady was really busy with work so we decided we would just have Lagoon be our anniversary outing.  On Saturday afternoon we went to The Treehouse Museum in Ogden with Matt's family.  That place is pretty fun and the kids enjoyed it.  On Sunday we headed to Lagoon with our friends and had a good time there.

Just Another Laundry Day

We went out to Lewiston again for another laundry day.  Baine got to play with Kara's kids so they rode bikes down to Grandma's house.  Quincee was loving watching them.  She was pretty interested.

Tenzley's Birthday Party

Tenzley turned 5 in August.  Her party was fun and the kids seems to enjoy themselves.

Uncle Todd taking Quincee down the slide.  She did NOT like it.  She loves him though but was giving him the stink eye for a little while.

Cache Valley Fair

Once again Brady was going to be working late so me and the kids headed off to the Cache Valley Fair.  I didn't take a lot of pictures but here are a few.

August 7th

Here are some more of the house.  One is of Baine in his room.  He's so excited!

Gabby's 2nd Birthday

End of July we went up to Rigby for Gabby's 2nd birthday party.  Here are a couple of pictures.

Everyone zonked out on the way home.
