2 Year Pics
He recently got his 2 year pictures done. My friend who takes them told me not to get disappointed because most toddlers only last about 20 minutes. Last year when he was 1 he lasted about 10 minutes. Well this time we were up to 45 minutes and still going strong! He likes to look at himself and he knows that's what a camera is for so he knows this at a young age. Ha! Sorry I had a hard time deciding which ones I liked the most.

Canning
I only have the one picture, basically because I'm too lazy to take, and upload the others. We planted and harvested our own garden this year. Let me take that back, I planted and then Brady took over. Anyways. Everything grew really well. I canned strawberry jam, pictured above. I canned beans, salsa, and spaghetti sauce so far. I also froze some corn. It's been fun to grow our own things and I didn't know the difference of flavor from fresh out of the garden to store bought. Huge difference!!
5 Years
It was 5 years of marriage for us this past August. It was a pretty low key day. We told eachother no gifts. We just didn't have the money with everything coming up that we are doing. We are both procrastinators so to buy eachother a gift months ago would never happen with us. We were so busy that week and my friend wanted us to go take pictures of her and her family for them. She needed them done by that Sunday and for some reason I only had one day that week that I was able to take the pictures and that day landed on our anniversary. Yup that's right, that's what we did. :) Brady went to meet someone that morning. I did hair at the house. Then for lunch we went to our favorite mexican restuartant 'Mis Amores'. That afternoon we took the 4-wheelers up the mountain and took pictures. Happy 5th to us!
I seriously married my best friend. I dated quite a bit. I seemed to always feel the need to hang on to the same person for a while. Why, I don't know. (Sorry Mom and Dad.) I seriously have a problem with looking at men and thinking that they are all stupid. Laugh if you want but this really is a huge problem for me! I NEVER thought any male that I ever hung out with, or dated was smart. I'm not trying to be rude either, this is just my problem. Maybe I should go talk to a phsyciatrist about this. Hahaha! Anyways, then I met Brady. He literally is the smartest man I know. He amazes me everyday. I also look at where he came from and where he is today, I wonder how he did it and how he did it so well. Sure we have our problems, I mean who doesn't. But to me, they are mild. (It probably helps that I trust him and don't think he's full of shit......just sayin'!) He is the most genuine person I know. He might act tough, and how he goes about things might seem like he's too tough to care, but he's got the best heart. If you know me you know I couldn't be married to a jerk. :) I see a huge future for the 3 of us, and I'm excited that I get to spend it with the cutest, smartest, most fun boys I know!
I just asked Brady if he wanted to write anything, he said he's not good with words. Haha!
Family Reunion
Alison and Stacey were both here for Grandma Karen's surpise birthday party which was basically a family reunion. It was nice to see everyone and spend time with Brady's family. I felt like I didn't get ANYTHING accomplished but boy was I so tired when it was over. I felt like, for the most part the kids did really well together. Baine may have smacked Isabel around a little bit. That's pretty normal. The last time he smacked her Ro, Baine, and Izzy were upstairs and then I heard Isabel's cry. I try not to assume but I was pretty sure mine had started that cry. Isabel is coming downstairs with these huge tears and a scream and Ro and Baine were at the top of the stairs, both with smiles on their faces. I asked what happened and Ro said Baine hit Iz. I asked Baine if he did and he replied yes. I asked him why and he grinned and said cuz. I asked Ro why and he grinned and said cuz. So Baine got in some big trouble because I had about had it with him hitting her. All in all though they were pretty good kids considering.
I also stayed up with the new baby Gabriella. It wasn't too bad the first night but her sleeping got worse with each night. I tried to stay up every other night. I think I only did 4 nights, but that was enough for me. I seriously, and this is NOT an exaggeration, only got 2 hours of sleep 3 nights that I watched her. The girl wouldn't sleep if she wasn't being held and I don't know about anyone else but there is something about holding someone elses baby, I couldn't sleep for fear I would hurt her. If I wanted some birth control that was sure enough for me. In her defense though, she wasn't in her own bed and they thought her stomach might of been upset from the formula. I really don't know what it's like to have a hard kid do I? But people say, "oh you just got lucky with his sleep." Some people probably do get lucky. I had to train Baine. 2 1/2 weeks old I made him cry himself to sleep. It also seemed like every couple months I was training him again for naps or bedtime or something. Don't get me wrong, I love the cuddles but at 2 in the morning, cuddles are overrated.
We also went down to Grandma Karen's 75th suprise birthday party. It was a lot of fun to see the extended family. Thanks to Facebook and Instagram we had a lot to talk about. Brady was only able to go to the picture part. He had to get going after that so he could make it to the Bronco game.

Cousins
Grandma & Grandpa Tarbet brought these 2 cuties, (and the other grandkids) all jerseys from Denver. I had to get this cute picture of Bo and Baine. They both have the new Manning jersey.
Oops......
Baine fell onto/into the coffee table. That table is just a hazard and we should really just throw it away. He was jumping on the couch, and I know that I shouldn't of been letting him do it in the first place. When he fell I hurried and picked him up he was bleeding so bad it got all over my shirt, his shirt, the carpet and tile. I hurried and put a towel on his head and applied pressure then thought oh crap now what! He was a champ. I gave him some tylenol, because I like to drug my kid like that, and we headed to the Dr. Doctor glued him shut and that was that. Here's some pictures. They are backwards again sorry.
New Boots
Dad bought Baine some new boots. His snow boots stunk so bad and Brady and Baine made a deal that if they could throw away the moon boots they would go buy cowboy boots. This was perfect since the Backyardigans show right now that he's hooked on, Tyrone wears cowboy boots and Baine thinks it's pretty awesome! Here's the pictures not in order.....
These boots were just a bonus pair. Haha!
Lagoon
We went to Lagoon in July with Rozz and her kids. It was a lot of fun! Would of been more fun if they would of had the measurement thing the same of every ride. Sometimes he was 35" and above and other times he was barely 33". So some rides they wouldn't let him ride. He had a lot of fun and was such a trooper. We left at 9 that morning and didn't leave the park until 10:30 that night. He didn't nap but when he was tired he just sat in the stroller and played with the shrek he had won. Here are some pictures in no particular order.
Day after, playing with Shrek.
On the train. Pretty much the highlight.
Sorry this picture is sideways. These are all of his faces he pulled on the Train. Love it!
Oreo
Darren and Rozz got a new horse named Oreo. Baine is pretty interested in him and always tells me about Oreo on Mondays after I pick him up from their house.

New Ride
For Baine's birthday we bought him a motorcycle. We have gotten a lot of crap for it so if you would like to say something please do as Thumper says. If you do not know what Thumper says, go watch Bambi. Anyways the kid loves it! Had he NOT been as interested in his jeep as he is or not have been so coordinated we probably wouldn't have given him his bike so soon. We would of still bought it because it was Brady's friend's, son's bike and it was for sale. We also knew that it had been taken care of. When Baine was on this bike the very first time he was trying to balance it. He just is so smart with all this stuff. He understands it all he just isn't strong enough to pull the brake himself. He also has a hard time with the throttle because the bike is turned down so low so he can't go very fast. We also have taken the training wheels off so Brady and I can ride it around. Our neighbors tease us that we bought it more for us than Baine. Not true. We do need to get our own next year.
Cherry Hills
We went to Cherry Hills back in July for a get together since Brady's brother Matt bought a new house. The water park was a lot of fun but Baine didn't know what to think of it at first. He was pretty timid. He got used to it pretty fast and didn't want to leave.
This picture of the kids with Grammy was at the BBQ after. They really love her.
