Happy Halloween

Had to add this one, because isn't this the typical 1 year old face?  "I want whatever I want, when I want!"

I had to put him on the counter to get a good enough picture because he would just want the camera and walk towards me when he was on the ground.
I took this picture on our way to trick or treating.  We had just pinned him down to put the makeup on him and he was ticked.  He would just stare at Brady straight faced, no emotion, and we would just laugh but he would just sit there.  So funny!
Yes, we are a good looking couple!
 Tigger and Minnie Mouse.
 Hannah Montanna.
 Scary Vampire!
 Trick or Treating.

I had to post 3 of these pictures.  This one I love Bo and Jaxon.
This is what I was talking about earlier with Baine trying to get the camera.
Finally!  They are all standing still.

 What good Uncles we have!

We never did call the cops on Dad.  :)    (Inside joke)
If he is the same kid next year that he is this year, he might be a devil!  Yup I should of named him Lucifer.

Happy Halloween!!!

Picture Frames

I must say these are the cutest frames I've ever seen in my life!  Plus my sweet husband being the crafty man he is, made them for me!  Now I just need to hurry up and finish decorating my front room before I change my mind on the colors again.  I was going to wait to take a picture until it was all done but I'm too excited about these frames.  I needed to show them off.

Treehouse Museum

Alison came down for a few days the end of September and we took a day and went to Ogden to the Treehouse Museum.  If you have kids and haven't been it is so fun.  Baine was only 14 months and he loved and and didn't want to leave.  There is so much to do and see that there's no way that a child could take it all in, in just one day.  We also went to an arcade that was just down the street.  I'm pretty sure the adults and way more fun than the kids.  Let me rephrase, I'm sure Brady was wishing he could of stayed there while we went to the Museum.

It's sad but this dang bridge was Baine's favorite part.  He loves walking on hills right now.

King Bobka.  He looks sick of being there but don't let him fool you.  He was wishing he could play with all of the stuff.

Giant chess set that the kids loved.  Baine must of been hungry.  Haha.

I should of got more pictures of all of the kids.  Oops!

Sinus Infection

It all started around the end of July.  I thought I was just getting really bad headaches.  I was popping Tylenol  Excedrin, and Ibuprofen like crazy.  Finally after a few days I decided it wasn't a headache and I would just wait it out. My left eye went all of the way blurry so I finally headed to the doctor mid-august.  He thought it was a sinus infection so he gave me a anti-biotic and sent me on my way.  I took that for a week........nothing changed.  My grandma had a extra z-pac so I took that.  I thought I felt a little pressure leave but I didn't know if it was really working or my mind was playing tricks on me.  I waited the 10 days and decided to make a eye doctor appointment.  I went in to the doctor on a Monday.  He did the check-up, told me what he thought was wrong with my left eye.  All I heard was tumor and MS.  I stayed pretty calm on the outside.  (I usually do stay pretty calm when the bad news is about me.  I do the freaking out for everyone else when it has nothing to do with me.)  He told me that he thought I could have either a tumor in the brain which was putting alot of pressure on my eyes and elevating my nerves behind my eyes.  Or that I could have Optic Neuritis which is one of the leading signs linked to MS.  Like I said all I heard was tumor and MS.  I asked him what is next he said he would order me a MRI and most likely be sending me down to the U.

So the Doctors office called a little while later and made the MRI appt. for the next afternoon.  I really wasn't feeling too scared or bad.

Anyways so Tuesday we headed to the hospital to do the MRI.  We didn't tell anyone yet because we didn't want to scare anyone because I really felt that it sounded worse than it was going to be.  I did the test and when it was done the guy who did it asked me when I was going to see my Dr. again.  I said I don't know he never really said anything.  He told me I had better get a hold of him by Thursday if I hadn't heard from him.  Well that freaked me out.  I thought ok maybe it is worse than I thought.  So I called my Dr.'s office on the way home.  (Trying to be pushy without being too pushy)  I told them I just got the MRI and now I didn't know what they would want me to do.  They said that the Dr. would call me tomorrow.  I was thinking 'seriously!  I have to wait another day!'  He did call that evening though.  He said I had Pseudotumor Cerebri.  Which means fake tumor in the brain.  Basically my body thinks it's a tumor because it acts like a tumor and I have extra fluid in my brain which creates pressure that needs to be drained.  It is not a tumor.  I also won't be getting MS.  Bouya!!!  There were no signs.

So we headed down to the U to get more tests.  The appointment, we were told would be.......3-5 hours!  I think we were there 4.5 hours.  The only waiting we really did was probably 1/2 hour.  The verdict.........Optic Neuritis. (Optic neuritis is inflammation of the optic nerve. It may cause sudden, reduced vision in the affected eye.)  The cause, well there are ALOT of causes for Optic Neuritis.  The most common one is a virus.  Some other causes can be, vitamin deficiency, infections, multiple sclerosis and if one of those were the cause you most likely won't get better on your own.  I for one have not had any of these lately and the Dr. told me to try and think back to the first of July.  So I don't really know what caused this but it normally doesn't come back so I should be in the clear.  I only have one test left.  It's a blood test to determine if my spine swells along with my nerves.  The chances of that happening is slim.  If by chance it did swell.........well, that's not so good.  I've had a good feeling about this all along and I'm feeling good about the blood test.  There's more important things to worry about now.  :)

My Little Boy.......

Who is growing up WAYYY too fast!!  This past month he has gotten 4 new teeth!  I swear life is getting crazier by the minute.  He is in to everything.  So curious.  One of the Mom's at Brady's softball games told me to other night that she has two kids, 1 boy and 1 girl and she says that I have my hands full.  She was laughing because Baine wants to climb the bleachers and climb his stroller and try and climb the drinking fountain.  I tell him no and he'll scream.  I let him climb and he'll get hurt.  That doesn't stop him though he just heads for more.  He definitely has his own attitude and I'm not sure we are going to be getting along.  Sonya always told me that Brady would have to try anything and everything.  He would literally think about the consequence, decided he didn't care, and go get into trouble.  I'm pretty sure Baine is just like his dad.

He is a really good kid though, as long as we're home.  Haha.  He can pretty much go and do whatever he wants.  He does listen at home.  He is really smart.  I know every parent thinks their kid is smart but I have been told by numerous people that he is advanced for his age.  It's crazy to me his thought process and how he can figure things out.  I'm one proud Mama!  Although I know I can't take too much credit.  I don't do much more than your average mother.  He is a very big observer around new things.  Brady has had probably 8 or more games by now and his 2 most recent ones Baine has started to yell and scream at the players, and also he keeps trying to run into the field and dugout.  We got him a little plastic trike which his feet can't touch yet but they are very close.  We kept putting his feet on the peddles so he would get the idea.  He pretty much could care less and did really move much while he was on it.  Ronin came up got on the trike for probably 5 minutes.  Baine watched him the whole time, silently, fiddling with his fingers when he's concentrating.......Ronin left and that night Baine tried to peddle.  Obviously he still couldn't do it so he walks forward and backwards on it and goes as fast as he can.

Anyways I have a lot to pictures and things post but that will have to happen another day.
