I was on the phone with Brady and Quincee wouldn't quit whining so I walked upstairs so I could finish talking to him.  I heard the whining stop and when I got back downstairs this is what I found.  At least they were happy.  :)

Moving Cattle

We went up in the mountains this last weekend to move the cattle to the forest side.  I tell you this is a whole new world for me.  Yeah I grew up on a farm and did my own fair share of chasing cattle but never up in the mountains.  We did it on the roads.  We borrowed my Dad's Ranger so that I could go and take Quincee.  It was a lot of fun.  It was a pretty easy ride and we took Quincee out of her seat for some of it.  She seemed to really like it.  Brady was in front of us on the four-wheeler and she just kept yelling at him trying to get his attention.  Baine of course loves going.  He usually goes with Brady every time.  He did ride with me a lot this time, I think it was because I'm not as crazy of a driver as Brady so he didn't get scared as much.  I could go riding like this all the time.  It's so beautiful up in the mountains.

After chasing the cattle we went up to Willow Flats and made tin foil dinners and played a little bit.  It was a fun day!

Busy Kids

There were a couple of days last week that I don't think we really came inside.  Baine was loving all of the good weather and finding a lot of stuff to do.  Quincee was trying to keep up.  She'll sit and yell and growl at him until he notices her and starts playing with her.

This picture cracks me up!

This Girl.......

She is so much fun.  She is getting the funniest personality every day.  She growls all of the time!  She loves to sing.  We think she's going to be a dancer because she just moves her legs like crazy.  She has started bouncing a lot to music.  She loves her brother.  She knows his name and whenever I tell her to go fine him she does try.  She is pretty fun!

Q's New Helmet

We got Quincee a helmet so she could go on bike rides with us.  She's so funny.  I loves the bike and we took her a few times without a helmet.  When I put the helmet on she of course hated it.  It's wayyy too big and falls in her face.  I couldn't find a smaller one though so hopefully this one will do for a little while.  She fussed at first but once we get peddling she's just fine and loves it.  I forgot how much kids this age just love to be outside.  She can be so fussy inside but as soon as I open that door she's all better.

Quince is such a messy little eater.  I remember handing so many things to Baine and he hardly ever spill.  I never had to teach him how to close his lid on his juice he for some reason just knew and he never spilled it.  The only thing he struggled with was crackers in a bowl, they got spilled every. single. time. and still do to this day!  So one day we were leaving Wal-Mart around lunch time so I bought Q one of those squeezer baby food things that you just suck the food out of.  Well the WHOLE way home Baine kept telling me how messy she was and was totally freaking out.  Told me we needed to stop, he needed wipes, he kept telling Quincee that she need to eat better.  Oh my word!!  It was pretty interesting.  This is what she looked like at the end and boy was it a disaster.  We took the hose to her and the carseat.  I learned my lesson that day.  She sure is not like her brother that way!

Summer Is Here

We went up Oneida a few weekends ago, and made tin foil dinners and smores.  The kids played in the water a little bit and we lounged and got our tans on.  It was so nice to get out of the house to do something different.

These pictures are from Memorial Day.  We had the Mcknights over for a BBQ.  It of course was fun and we set up the slip n' slides and we did it with the kids.  It probably looked so white trash but I don't really care.  Our kids thought we were pretty awesome!
