“Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves.” ~Gordon B Hinckley~

First REAL 4-wheeler Ride

We took Baine for his first 4-wheeler ride.  It was a success.  I wanted to pee my pants but Baine loved it.  I wasn't scared because of the trail.  It was really mild.  I was scared because my little baby was there.  It was a good time though.  We went with Darren and Rozzlynn who brought their ranger and took most of the pictures.

Brady's attempt at getting a family picture.

This picture cannot even begin to tell how funny this was.
It was getting chilly and Brady thought that we had better put
Baine in the middle of us to block him from the wind.  He hadn't had a
afternoon nap so he was beyond tired.  As soon as we moved him from the
front to the middle he immediately fell asleep.  It was literally 2 seconds.
I'm not exaggerating.

This is the picture at the end.  The rode was so bumpy I was coming off of my seat and we get to the bottom and this little man was still asleep!  I was shocked.  The rode was so bumpy that the next day my bum was so sore from hitting the bar on the back.

Lately

We've had a lot of these!

 Alot of this!

A little bit of this!

 Some of this!
(He likes to hog the camera)

We've gone to the park a lot.  Rode the 4-wheeler a lot.  Ate LOTS and LOTS of popsicles.  (he knows right where they are)  We've had our happy days and a few mad days.  The last couple of days has been tired days.  He could care less where his Mom is when Dad's around.  He trys to copy everything Dad's doing.  He's very curious right now and thinks he is a big boy.  The other day he even tried to sit on the toilet.  I'm not ready for that and I'm pretty sure he's not either.  He says Ma and Da and mo (more) mmmm (milk).  He surprises me everyday with things he does and understands.  I'm pretty sure he's a genius!
