Wish I Had A Camera

Tonight I went to dinner with some girl friends and Baine's usual bedtime is 8.  He can barely make it to 8 sometimes.  Dinner was at 7 so I wasn't sure how he was gong to be but he did pretty good.  By 8:30 he was so tired he just sat on my lap with his little limbs hanging off and talking away.  Apparently he was part of the conversation.  When we got home I was putting on his pajama's and he was just staring at me smiling.  He looked so tired.  I picked him up and he layed his head on my shoulder and just cuddled me.  He has never really done that.  I almost didn't want to put him to bed.  I just rocked in the chair and held him like that for a little bit!  I wish I had a camera to prove to Brady that Baine does in fact like me more!  :)

8 Months

I think I'm finally getting to see my little baby's personality come through and boy is he a drama king!!  Only wants Mom and Dad, I can be playing with him and he's just happy and as soon as I leave him he'll cry.  He has the most FAKE whine/cry where he scrunches his whole face.  He now is LOVING his fruits and second guessing the veggies.  Hates carrots!  He's starting to wonder about peas.  He's starting to get to be a little more work but that's ok.  I expected more work in the beginning so this is ok with me.  He's still being stubborn about moving around.  I think he got his Mom's laziness.  I mean why get off your bum and go get it if someone with just bring it to you!  Right?  He started to pull himself up one day so I thought I would go help him, ya know "coach" him.  All it took was me helping him one time, now when he wants to pull himself up he puts his hands there and turns his head and looks at me like "k, come on!"  Pretty sure it doesn't matter what sex your child is, if they wanna be dramatic they'll just be dramatic!!

We took Baine outside in his little walker and he loved it.  I wish I could of got more of his face.  It was so funny!  I didn't mean to get Ronin biffing it but I just kept the camera rollin'.  He's a tough little guy though.  He fell that day probably 5 times and never cried once until Brady was the one that caused the fall.  That was a bad one though.  Count on Brady to always  Get someone to cry.  Little kids or grown-ups.  :)

Ashley's Shower

I threw a shower for my Ashley at my house.  I now have a new appreciation for everyone that throws parties by themselves with no help.  It's a lot of work!  It was alot of fun though.  I love to be in the kitchen.  Especially my new kitchen!  :)  I really need to learn to not eat my own treats though.  Haha!  Anyways I had fun doing it so it was worth it.  I had to take pictures of all my work!

I did the theme in skulls (obviously)  I had Kollin help me pick it out because I wanted to surprise Ashley.  I was online checking out all the themes.....so cute....one of my favorites was King of the Jungle.  I need to throw another shower so I can do that one!  When I was looking for her shower theme I got sidetracked and started looking at birthday party themes for Baine.  I wish I was rich!  I definitely could go all out on dumb stuff like that.

I was just checking out Kade and Jess's blog and decided I needed this picture.  She is freaken cute!  I love this age.  I love how she just jabber's all the time.  I love how she says my name!  She is just too cute!  

Yes that's right folks, I have made some things.  This lucky looks way better than the love blocks I made for valentines.  I guess I'm just getting better!  I never have liked making crafts but this modge podging thing isn't too bad.  The one on the right my friend came up with.  She actually put it together for me but it's so cute I had to post a picture!
