Deck The Halls

The Christmas decor is finally up!  I even put some lights outside all by myself.   I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished lately by myself!  Trying not to totally toot my own horn, but I'm doing pretty good being home with the kids all by myself.  Now if only I got the garden rototilled I'd be set.  (Dangit)  Anyways Christmas is up, some presents are wrapped.  Shopping is almost done.  Stockings are made but not yet hung.  I love this time of year.  So busy but yet so fulfilling.  Here are just a few pictures of lately.  I also LOVE that I'm back to blogging.  I feel like I've left so much out.  It's so easy to get on every couple of days and put some pictures on here with some words to say what we've been up to.  This computer better not break down on me again anytime soon!

Every morning we watch some cartoons and cuddle on the couch.  Most mornings we end up taking pictures and sending Dad one.

Baine's Santa craft.  I helped, A LOT, obviously.  That's something I need to work on.  Letting him do his stuff by himself and learning that way.  Whoops!

Here are stockings.  My neighbor Jodi has an embroider machine so we put our names on them.  She also embroidered a Minnie on Quincee's.  Baine picked out his own Spiderman material, and wanted Quincee to have Avengers.  So I took over and picked out Minnie since she loves Mickey Mouse and already watches it.

Drama

This girl is giving me a run for my money.  She is turning into her brother more and more every day.  I sure know how to raise some needy kids.  Oh well, I consider myself a needy person so I'm just turning them into me.  I can't wait until the holiday's are over so that Brady will be home more to bring out the other side of these kids.  I'm surprised I can shower by myself daily!  Good thing they're so sweet and so cute.
Baine and Tenzley went outside today to build a snowman.  I laughed when Tenz said that she was going to build it.  She did go try though.  I'm glad that we finally got some snow!  Hopefully we'll be building one soon.

These 2 Cuties

These two are so cute to each other.  Baine from day 1 has loved his sister.  The only one he really had a problem with was me.  He's slowly getting better but the attention thing was really really hard for him.  I'm just glad he never took it out on Quincee.  He's always been so good to her.  I've taken these photos just over the last couple of days.  It makes us smile when we look at them.   There's nothing sweeter than sibling love.

A friend made these hats.  Baine LOVES his.  He always wants to wear it and wants Quincee to wear hers too.  Hopefully he won't try dressing her up anytime soon.

Baine is always wanting someone to watch him.  Now he picks Quince.  Fine by me!!

Telling her all about his shows.

Showing her Tyrone.  (Backyardigans)

Finally!

So this is what happens when you have to take matters into your own hands.  I've NEVER painted.  I touched up our baseboards once.  Brady was suppose to paint this wall but when you have a husband who is only home to sleep and watch football on Sunday's, you have to learn how to do things on your own I guess. So tonight I finally finished the wall!!  Now I need to get the rest of their room finished!  There's so much to do that I feel like I'll never get it done.

Here's before
During
After

4 Months

Quincee's 4 month stats:
14.25lbs 64%
length 25.5in 89%
head 16.1in 44%

Her length was measured wrong this time so she really isn't that long.  Her head wasn't touching the top thing.  There was a gap.  I should of said something, but I didn't.  Oh well.  I don't know what to think about this girl.  She is very 50/50 with her good and bad days.  She's either super needy or wants to be by herself.  This is probably a look into our future!  She loves watching Baine and will pretty much let him do anything to her.  Scary!  She's still sleeping through the night good.  She's a very good napper.  She's a busy body for sure.  She doesn't do good just hanging out.  She needs some sort of toy to keep her happy.  Baine was always content just watching everything, where as she needs to be occupied.  She has found her feet and loves to play with them right now.  I think she might be teething but I can't tell for sure.  I think that's about all right now that I can think of.  We sure do love her!  I'm pretty sure we have the cutest, smartest kids ever.  :)

Lately

This little lady started sucking her thumb.  So cute right now.  Later isn't going to be fun.

This little boy fell from the fridge.  He's not supposed to climb the fridge.  This is what happens when he doesn't listen.  :)  His right side is swollen and he bit a hole in his cheek.

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving.  My neighbor and I decided to make Turkey shirts.  It was a pain but turned out pretty cute.  I also tried to make Quincee a skirt but it was hideous.  Then my neighbor tried to make her one and it was too small.  Here's a picture of it.  It took all I had to get it on her for a picture.

We went to Rigby to visit Isabel for a day.  Here Baine is on her trike.

Baine wearing Stacey's sunglasses.

Baine and Quincee watching Mickey.

I had to take this picture of this.  I thought it was funny.
