Cousins

These 3 little cuties were able to hang out for a couple of days and boy did they have fun!  Isabel and Ronin are so dang funny and Baine just was happy and content to follow whoever, where ever, whenever!  It was fun to watch them play.

July 4 2011

I'm really sad that this holiday is over!  I loved this weekend.  Baine's naps slowed me down, but I will forgive him.  I love this holiday because there is no work, not too much money to spend, and you can be lazy and hang out with family and friends.  Here is a little of what we did this year.

There was no Lewiston softball tournament this year.  Dangit!  It was a bittersweet thing for me.  I love playing but it takes up alot of the day and let's face it, I'm no good.  So Friday we went to the Logan fireworks.  I think I put that in my last post.  I loved it but I was the only one.  Saturday we went to the cruise in.  I love how some people just put their new vehicles in it because they have rims and tires and a nice paint job.  I'm pretty sure the cruise inn is for the old cars!  One's that are "bad a**"  as Brady would put it.  After we went to Texas Roadhouse and I just have to write about this.  I had fed Baine about 2 hours earlier and so I figured he could snack there and then drink his bottle on the way home.  Nope he ate as much there as a 10 year old would.  When we got in the car he didn't look so good.  I really thought he was going to throw up!  He kept patting his belly and rubbing his hand all over his face.  Hahaha!  It was so funny he definitely was not feeling very good.

Sunday we headed to Bearlake with LeeAnn and her in-laws.  Her pa-in-law works for USU and he is able to stay at the USU cabin over there for free.  It was so fun!  We only went up for Sunday but Baine had a blast.  He loved the lake until I took him out.  He did love it with Brady though.  I got to lay my white body out in the sun and brown it a little bit.  We ate wayyyy too much!  How do you pass up dutch oven cooking though.  I am sad that I missed the Tarbet fireworks.  I will be there next year though!

Monday was the BIG day in Lewiston!  We missed the breakfast because we were so dang tired.  So I made a batch of my famous toast and we headed out the door for the parade.  Always a highlight!  Baine seemed to like it.  I think he got bored.  He kept trying to run into the street.  If Brady would let me I would get a leash for that kid!  After the parade we looked at the booths.  There was some neat stuff there.  Too bad we aren't rich yet.  I'm pretty sure that day is coming though!  :) The rest of the day was just hanging out with all the family that comes up, and the fireworks.  Again Baine got a little bored but he did good. Here are some pictures of the festivities.

The group right in the middle far out there is us.  I was trying to get a picture of Baine and Brady.  That's what I got.

Cute kids!

It Is Time

It was time to update my blog.  I get behind these days.  I know it probably won't seem like it to you but I have a lot that I would like to blog about and I just haven't been getting to it.

The last couple weeks have been so dang busy.  I love when it gets warm and there is so much to do but at the same time everyone is always on the go so it gets hard to get stuff done.  The last two weeks me and Baine had a Mommy and Baby swim class.  It was every morning for a half hour.  It was fun!  We did it with LeeAnn and Kamry.  At first me and LeeAnn were thinking what did we get ourselves into.  This could be lame.  It was fun though to get the babies used to the water and I think me and Baine bonded.  :)  He was such a Daddy's boy and now he loves his Mom just as much!  He did pretty good, even with the dunking.  Until the day came for the underwater passing.  He was pissed!  He didn't even want to be in the water after that so instead of fighting him we got out and waited until it was over.  The last two days he pretty much was done.  He just wanted the instructor to blow bubbles the whole time.  All in all though I'm glad I did it.  Now I know some fun ways to keep him entertained and love the water.  When he's 3 though he will definitely get some real swim lessons.

We went to the park yesterday for my Grandma's birthday.  I forgot my camera and my phone was dying so I wasn't able to get any pictures.  My Mom took some so when she posts I'll still a few from her.  We went to the Whittier School Park.  If you haven't ever been there you should go!  It's bigger and better than Ryan's Park.  It was fun seeing all the kids together and seeing all of the family!  Good call Grandma with the park.  We should definitely do that again!

Now it's just time to get ready for the 4th.  I LOVE this time of year!

A Day With Cousins

I got to watch Jax and Bryn the other day so we decided to head to Ryan's Park.  It's a dang cute little park.  I think they had a good time.  We invited Kamry and LeeAnn to come to so that Baine would have a swinging buddy.

We had to invite Kamry too!

Crazy Kids!

And yes I do mean Brady too!

Idaho Days

Yup that's right, Franklin has a 3 day weekend event called Idaho Days.  Brady and I didn't attend any of it.  We thought about it but Brady wouldn't get out of the car once we were there.  He said it was too weird.  So we did sit out on our back porch and watch the fireworks.  Baine was pretty into it.  Since he loved those ones so much we actually took him to Logan's fireworks that were last night and ten times better.  He got bored.  Oh well it's been a few years since I have been to the ones in Logan and I quite enjoyed them!
