Criminal Minds

I'M HOOKED!!!!

Thanks to Kara and my Mom I now love the show Criminal Minds. It's so interesting. Brady and Sonya even will watch it with me. It's the one show that we all can agree on. Although I think I have been watching it too much, last night me and Brady had to sleep at his uncles house to take care of his dog and feed the cows. When we went to bed I was freaked out because the house kind of is in the middle of no where and Zeus started barking and I kept hearing noises. Brady said "No more criminal minds if you can't even sleep at night now." Well little does he know that's what I'm watching while I write this post!!! Hehehe.

Denver

One of the days in Denver we decided to go check out the Coors Plant.
It was pretty interesting. They threw out a lot of facts that were kinda fun
to know, but like all other stuff that I don't need to store in my memory for
importance, I forgot what I learned as soon as I left.
Yes that is a cowboy hat made out of a beer box.

After the tour we took a drive up to the Buffalo Bill Museum.
They drive was fun. The museum, not so much.

On the drive up there people were riding skateboards and bikes down.
Some people were even riding their bikes up the hill
No thank you. It was a pretty steep hill. To me that would suck.

Those lights are men in the military sky diving into the stadium

There were so many Steeler fans there.
I had to get a picture of how many
there were at the beginning.
Once the game started it was looking better.
We weren't so outnumbered anymore.

This guy was crazy. He was there last year too.
He got in a fight with a girl Steeler fan. It was kind
of funny to see how brutal opposing team fans could
get with eachother.

Update

So time for an update. Not a whole lot going on. I just finished my class last week, now I take the state test whenever I'm ready and I get certified. Exciting! Maybe. Anyways and Brady is still working his little bum off. I'm so thankful that he is staying busy through all of this. I don't know what we would do if he wasn't.

A couple weekends ago we went to a concert with some of our friends. It was such a good time! It was at the Saltair in Manta. They were having a rave outside with all these high school kids and I have only been out of high school for 6 years and I NEVER EVER dressed like that or would ever THINK of dressing like that. I wondered why all these girls in panties and big furry boots were walking in and out of the building so me and Brady went and took a look at what was going on outside. I wanted to run outside and wrap them up in our jackets and give them a blanket. Not to mention ask them if their parents knew where they were and what they were wearing. It was sad. Brady told me he is locking our kids in our house if this is how it's going to be. I told him lets just not bring them into this world.

Maybe it's just lately and what's been going on in our lives and in peoples lives around us, but I'm really grateful for good friends and family. I have the best friends, family, in-laws, co-workers. I couldn't be happier with who I'm surrounded by. There is just two people I would like to hurt. Using the word hurt really isn't strong enough. My old landlords. So if anyone has any sneaky ideas that I can use to "hurt" these people, feel free to leave a comment!

Lately.....

I haven't been keeping up with blogging lately so here is an update of what we have been up to. (sorry for the boring post)

Brady has been busy with work. They aren't really slowing down too much, which is so good. I have started a class over at Bridgerland. I can't believe how you forget how to study if you haven't done it for very long. It's sad really.

We went to Jackson Hole with my family. It was my mom's birthday that weekend so Kara came up with this great idea to make her a boob cake. It turned out so cute and was hilarious! Plus it was so yummy!

We also went to Soda Springs for a family reunion on Brady's side. I'm not a huge fan of family reunions as most Tarbets aren't, but once I got there it was actually really fun. Brady's mom planned almost all of it and she did a really good job with making it fun.

Now for the BIG news................we moved. Not far, just to Preston. We moved in with Brady's mom for a little while. I was thinking that it would be bad with the drive and always having to drive to Logan. It has not been so bad though. It's actually been really nice.

Well besides that not much else is going on, so until next time...........

2 years and counting......

So yesterday was our 2 year anniversary. It feels like it's been forever but it also feels like it was just yesterday. So last night we decided to rent a movie off of PPV. So I was on the Internet flipping through the movies and I saw that Transformers was on PPV so we decided on that one. I ordered it, Brady found the channel and pressed record so we could start watching it after it had started. We popped some popcorn, got our drinks, and sat down in front of the TV and pressed play. It had the WORST acting I had ever seen. Brady kept saying, "you have 10 more minutes and then I'm shutting it off." then "you have 5 more minutes." finally at the 1 minute mark I said "hit info and see what it says" it was called Transmorphers. We both starting laughing so hard. I can't believe we spent 5 bucks on something so stupid. Apparently we both have a problem with not reading ALL of the words.

Jon Schmidt

If you have never seen Jon Schmidt in concert, you really need to go. He is so amazing! It's a lot of fun too, it's just not some boring concert. I'm trying to upload a video of him from YouTube, but I can't figure it out so when I do.....get ready to be amazed! Hahaha
Brady the thug.

I don't know what face Matt is trying to pull

There's a smile.

Again, I don't know what Matt is doing.
He really got into the piano music!

People kill me

The other day I'm at work and my next appointment comes in. She brings with her, her 3 little kids, 6, 3, and 10 months. This lady wants her nails filled and she wants me to put a full set on her 6 year old. (whatever lady) Anyway so I put the little girls nails on, then I paint the 3 year olds nails, then I start the mothers nails. During this time the 3 yr. old is getting restless which really who wouldn't after trying to be good for 2 hours, and she starts to run around and grab everything insight, which included my product. Now I didn't care that she was grabbing certain stuff of mine until she went after my UV light. That was a no go. So I kind of got after her (only because her mother really wasn't) so she settled down for about ten seconds. (not an exaggeration) What I don't understand about all of this is that as soon as you walk into the salon there is this sign that says "turn cell phones off and bring only kids with an appt" (not the exact words of course but close) so why is it so hard to leave your kids at home? Now I know that there are exceptions, which in those cases I understand. But really, do you really expect your little kids to sit patiently while you go to a salon? I don't have kids and I already don't expect them to. Like I said, some people just kill me.

Fun in the sun with the best of friends

This past weekend Brady and I decided to go camping with a bunch of our friends. Friday we had a cookout and camped, and saturday we took it easy and boated all day. It was a blast! Most of our friends have kids, well actually everyone that came had a kid. I was a little nervous about how this would all work out with the fire going and a big drop off to the lake. It actually went really well. Two of the couples camped with us on friday and their kids did really well sleeping with them. All in all it really wasn't too bad. I should of got video footage of Brady pulling our friend Scott around on the tube, (it was hilarious) and of Jon and Brittany both getting up on the wakeboard that day! I was really mad because it took ME a whole YEAR to figure out how to get up on that dang board. Anyway it was so much fun to get everyone together and to have such a great night with interesting conversations and delicious food around the campfire. :)

Blogging

Well I have been wanting to do this for a long time because of how you can make it into a little scrapbook/journal and all you have to do is type! I couldn't talk Brady into it though even after everyone was bugging him to let me. Well.....he caved, so here we are starting our journey into the world of blogging!
