Day 28

Books

I love to read.  I haven't read much lately.  Mostly parenting magazines or self help books.  I love a good novel.  You know the ones that you can't put down.  You don't even want to go to bed or eat or leave the house.  Yup those ones.  I really have been needing to read something.  I have a few books at home that I haven't gotten to yet so I will start on those.  I also love books for Baine.  The other day I did a Usborne book party.  Those books are so cute.  Baine is really into books right now.  Just when you think your kid doesn't listen to you and you've been teaching a brick wall.......he takes a book, goes into another room, reads and makes animal noises or starts trying to say words.  We went Christmas shopping the other day and there was this fisher price tool bench that was so cute and I wanted to get it for Baine.  Brady told me we should stick with the books since he loves them and turn our little kid into a book worm and hopefully he'll dream of a real job and not stick with construction.  Ha!  I think Brady has a great job but if that's what he wants to teach Baine I'm supporting it 100%!  I still will get Baine some tools one day.  He'll need a hobby.  :)
