Catching Up

Well I'm pretty much a year behind in updating this blog.  I tried to keep up, but we didn't have a working computer so it was hard.  I have most of my important photo's on Instagram, and they'll print into chatbooks.  So that will help me keep up that way.  I don't feel like totally updating this, so chatbooks will have to do.  So in the past year here are a few highlights.

*We went to Bearlake A LOT in the summer, and it was our happy place!

*Baine started kindergarten

*This summer Quincee learned how to drive her power wheels and ride her bike within a few weeks of each other

*Baine got a new set of golf clubs from Grandma Sally and Grandpa Brooks for his birthday, and he is quite the golfer

*Quincee has become quite the little chatterbox, but she still sounds Chinese

*We went to Heber and road the Polar Express to the North Pole.  Baine wasn't really fooled though. 

*We went to Midway and saw the Ice Castles

*We had a really good Christmas, and we all got spoiled as usual

And for the biggest news, we are expecting another girl in May.  Crazy thing is, is that Kade and Jessica are expecting a girl too and we are due close to the same date.  So it will be so fun!

Brady's Appendectomy

Back in April, Brady woke up in the middle of the night with pain that just got worse as the night went on.  He went to the doc in the morning and they sent him to the ER.  They ran their tests and told Brady that they needed to take out his appendix.  He got surgery that day around 3 and was hoping to go home haha!  But they kept him over night.  The next morning when i drove back in to pick him up he was fully dressed, shoes on and all, and pretty much up everyones butt to get him out of there.  It was kind of comical.  He cracks me up!

Seaworld

It was so flippin hot that it was almost miserable the day we went to Seaworld.  We only stayed for about 3 hours before we all had had it.  I cant think of  anything that the kids really loved while we were there.  But i'm almost a year behind in posting about this, so i could have forgotten by now.

 Here are some pics of meeting Minnie.  Quincee loved her from a distance and would get so excited.  As soon as we got close she was a little freaked out.  When they got a picture with Minnie she stroked her face.  I think she knew something was up and it was weird haha!

 Here are pictures of meeting the super hero's.  This was one of my favorite parts.  Captain America did an amazing job.  He really seemed like the real deal.  Thor wasn't as good, but his room was amazing, and the kids got to try to lift his hammer.  Which of course no one could do it but him.  By the time we got to Iron Man, the kids were done and Baine wasn't impressed because it was only the suits and not the man.  I wanted a picture with the suit and I made both kids cry.  I got my picture anyway :)  We looked like a trainwreck.  The people behind us just laughing at us.

I could of killed Quincee on our flight home.  She was horrible!!  The people around us were so nice and were trying to help us by trying to keep her occupied.  Finally when the wheels touched the landing strip she was out cold.  I could of killed her for that too ;)

Universal Studio's

Here are a few pics from Universal.  I'm kicking myself that I don't have more.  So horrible.  Baine wouldn't meet Optimus or Bumblebee.  He'd just look at them from a distance.  Curious George was there and Baine LOVES the show, we forced him to say hi and he almost cried.  He is one timid and shy little boy until he warms up.  Quincee couldn't do much but she was content riding in the stroller.  There's a little park there and she went and played while Baine rode some rides.  Both of the kids did really well.  I was impressed.

On Our Way

 We are on our way to California!

Our plane left at 7 so there for we had to be awake and out the door by 5am.  Once we landed in Cali and got our rental car these two passed out.  It really was a long morning.

 First thing we did once we got to Cali was go get our City Passes and bought the kids their souvenirs.   We cut to the chase and get it done quick.  😆

 First day, and we're at the beach.  I can't remember what one it was though.
