New Years Eve/Day

For New Years we headed down to Salt Lake to stay in a hotel for the night.  We went to the Cheesecake Factory, the lights at Temple Square and took the kids swimming.  Well just Baine.  Quincee goes to bed at 7 and so it's hard to really do much with her around that time.  The next Day we headed towards home and stopped at Target to do some shopping.  Of course we had to buy Baine another costume.  :)

Cheesecake Factory

I should of took a picture of it before.  I had to get a piece of my favorite cake, red velvet cheesecake.

Baine wanted to do the little rides at Layton Hills Mall.  I don't know why we pay for him to do them.  He doesn't even like it.  He hopped off before they were ever even over.

Everyone sleeping on the way home.  Yes I was stopped when I snapped this pic.

Baine modeling his new costume from Target.

Quincee in her new outfit from Target.

New Do

Well Brady let me bleach his hair.  It was all out of fun and I really didn't think he'd let me do it. He thought he looked pretty good with the bleach on.  I didn't think he looked too bad with the bleached hair.  He kept it for almost a week and then shaved his head.  I'm just glad I got to color his hair for once.

Rice

This little girl has started eating rice.  She didn't like it at first but now she's loving it!  She's a pretty good eater.  I feel like she's going to be chunking up soon.

Christmas

We had a really good Christmas this year.  I feel a little bad because I videoed Baine opening his presents so I don't have any pictures.  Whoops.  Here are a couple of him opening up Quincee's.  Christmas Eve we invited Steve and Shayna over for dinner.  Then Christmas morning it was just us.  We opened presents, cooked some breakfast, then headed to my parent's for lunch and more presents.  It was a lot of fun!  The kids played so good and the parents really just lounged.  It was relaxing.  Then we came home and Sonya and Stacey were here to see the kids for Christmas.

Playing in the Snow

Helping me shovel the driveway.  This little boy is such a helper.  He seriously is so sweet and is always doing things for me.

Building Baine the Snowman.

I hope these two are always so cute to eachother.  I know it's too early to tell but how sweet would that be.

Sub For Santa

I took Baine this year to help me pick from the Sub-for-Santa tree.  I've tried to do it every year and thought he could pick out 1 of the gifts this year.  I read him a couple.  One was a movie, another was diapers, or socks.  He picked out pants for a 13 year old girl.  They had the size but then it said juniors.  Now I've never shopped for girls pants before.  If it doesn't say months or has the regular woman sizes on it then I don't know what I'm doing.  I went to the juniors and pulled out the size it said and I looked and thought well that's not going to fit a 13 year old.  At that point Quincee was crying, Baine was losing focus and I was running through the store cussing under my breath wondering why he couldn't of picked the kid who needed diapers!!  Well we figured it out, got the pants paid for and took them to Lee's.  Baine was very disappointed that he didn't get to take the pants to the girl..  When Brady got home I told Baine to tell Dad what we did today.  He told Brady something random.  Yup I really got through to him on the whole "feeling good while serving others" thing.  Better luck next year.

Ear Infection

This poor little thing had her first, and hopefully only, ear infection.  She had not been feeling very good for a while and wouldn't nurse very good.  The more it went on the more she stopped drinking from a bottle too because it hurt to suck.  Now Baine has never ever had an ear infection so I didn't know what to think.  She didn't have a fever, and was not pulling or rubbing her ear.  I just thought she was being a little devil.  Nope there was a problem.  After about 2-3 days on the antibiotics and regular doses of tylenol and ibprofen she was doing A LOT better.  She's still miss sassy, but with a whole lot more of sweet in there.  I think we'll keep her.
