New Ride

For Baine's birthday we bought him a motorcycle.  We have gotten a lot of crap for it so if you would like to say something please do as Thumper says.  If you do not know what Thumper says, go watch Bambi.  Anyways the kid loves it!  Had he NOT been as interested in his jeep as he is or not have been so coordinated we probably wouldn't have given him his bike so soon.  We would of still bought it because it was Brady's friend's, son's bike and it was for sale.  We also knew that it had been taken care of.  When Baine was on this bike the very first time he was trying to balance it.  He just is so smart with all this stuff.  He understands it all he just isn't strong enough to pull the brake himself. He also has a hard time with the throttle because the bike is turned down so low so he can't go very fast.  We also have taken the training wheels off so Brady and I can ride it around.  Our neighbors tease us that we bought it more for us than Baine.  Not true.  We do need to get our own next year. 

Cherry Hills

We went to Cherry Hills back in July for a get together since Brady's brother Matt bought a new house.  The water park was a lot of fun but Baine didn't know what to think of it at first.  He was pretty timid.  He got used to it pretty fast and didn't want to leave.

Potty Time

We are potty training and for the most part it's been a piece of cake.  This little boy has been interested since 18 months.  I kept dreading the training but when he was already pooping in the toilet consistently at home i got 'told' to do it!  We did the bare bottom method and he was pretty excited to be naked all day.  Basically you force fluids all day and keep them naked and make sure to watch and notice his signs that he has to pee.  Once he gives you a sign you ask if he needs to go to the bathroom and then stick him on the toilet.  He caught on fast.  By the end of the first day he was going on his own.  So I kept him naked or in loose shorts after the first day.  I started this the week of his birthday and he's doing so good!  The underwear is hard for him to get off fast, and when he needs to go he needs to go!  He's starting to hold it longer which is nice.  I am glad we're training.  I thought it would suck but it's been nice not to clean any poopy diapers.

And I actually have food growing!  Hopefully it keeps happening.

Head Bangin

Scare ya a little bit?  We didn't crash or anything.  He was jumping up and down in my car and hit his head on the windshield but it didn't even phase him.  I said "whoops", and went back to playing!  I guess that's what happens when you get a tough head from banging into things a lot when you're little.
