Not this little boy. He did really good with the Christmas tree. I didn't put any ornaments on my tree this year for a few reasons. 1) It was a real tree and every time I would touch it the needles would fall off and they were already falling off a lot. 2) I thought Baine was going to pull all of them off. Which he stayed away from my tree but would pull off everyone else's ornaments at their houses. :) We didn't put up the tree until a week and a half before Christmas and that seemed like a lot of work to put it all up and take it right back down. There is always next year.

Boys Will Be Boys
We had Ronin at our house a few weeks ago. Baine and Ronin get along pretty good for a little while and then the love/hate relationship sets in. You would think they would get sick of each other since sometimes they fight. Nope as soon as they see each other Baine follows Ronin around like a lost dog. I love having him at the age now that he can play with his cousins. So fun!

First.......
Baine received his first Christmas gift last night. It is always his first big dump truck! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison.

Meeting Santa
Baine met Santa for the first time this past weekend. He didn't cry. I was so surprised. He was very tired. He wouldn't look at Santa though. He wouldn't even smile, just looked down. I bought a new Santa book a couple weeks ago so he would figure out what this Santa business is all about. Maybe it did help. :)
Big Boy
Baine has been trying so hard lately to put his own shoes and socks on. It's not going very well. :) (example below) He also sucks with his fork but tries so hard to stab food with it. He has no problem once the food is on the fork, finding his mouth. He just can't get the food on the fork very easily. He's growing up too fast.

As Of Lately
Well I haven't updated about our little family for a little bit so here is what we are up to.
Brady- Business is good. Always busy. Never a dull moment at work.
Kelsey- My own business is going good. I'm building a clientele again a little faster than the first time so that is good. The salon could be busier I wish but I'm as busy as I want to be at home.
Baine- He is off and running. Not too much longer til I can't keep up with him. Which I know isn't hard. He says more words everyday. He probably only says 7 or so on a regular basis. If you ask him to repeat something it's a lost cause. He won't have anything to do with anything if it's not his idea. He rules this house that's for sure! He loves playing with his cousins. Every time Brynly comes over he has to hug her. Every time Ronin comes over he has to do EVERYTHING that Ro does. We need to stop swearing because he tries to repeat the s-word. He is starting to become pickier with food. Not loving oatmeal anymore or dried fruit. Loves fresh fruit more. He loves his trike right now. He can't peddle but boy does he go fast just using his feet on the ground. Hide and Seek is a nightly routine. He yells "BOO" until Brady or I starts to play. He will be 17 months in just a few days. I don't even like thinking about that I feel like he's going to be turning 2 tomorrow! If you can't tell we love our little boy and he truly is the highlight of our lives!

Last 2 Days Of Thankfulness
I know I know we are halfway through December. A lot has gone on with family. My last two things are my Grandparents and the gospel. I have been lucky my whole life to have all 4 grandparents alive. Grandparents help raise you. I learned a lot of things from my grandparents. I try to visit regularly but it doesn't happen. That's no excuse since they all 4 only live 10-25 minutes away. I feel like I have probably taken advantage of that. My grandparents have always supported me in everything I've done. They always help me out when they can and I think they have helped me more that I can ever thank them for. Especially Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison! (Thank you) These last few years have been hard. I know they can't live forever but both of my Grandpas' health is not the best. I can't picture everyday life without them. Which leads me to the last thing on the list, the gospel. I have a hard time talking about church. I know it's because I'm not doing everything expected of me . I don't really want to write much about me except for I'm glad that I know the things I know. I'm thankful for a heavenly father who listens and understands me. When you think you can't count on anyone well.......you have someone. I love that families can be together forever.
