Lately

Well if you're a avid reader of my blog you know that I try to write a update of what all of us have been up to lately.  It's usually boring I know but don't read it then.

Brady- Not much new there.  Still busy.  More steady than out of control, which is nice.  It's been nice lately because he'll come home before dark and take off most of Saturday.  I'm soaking it in.  Since his friend Kollin has been working there I think it has helped Brady with his organization.  Everyone has been working really hard to help get the business organized to they aren't running around crazy come the busy times of the year.  He's been fixing up a part of his shop for an office so when home owners come it actually has a "real business" feel to it.  He is pretty proud of that.  I don't blame him.  He loves what he does and is always trying to make it better.  What can I say, he's awesome!

Baine- Well I just did a update about him but he is doing something new all the time.  He, to me, is such a good baby.  People are always telling me that too.  Those people aren't hearing his scream though.  OH MY GOSH!  That scream.  It hurts my ears.  He doesn't do it when he cries.  He'll do it to get your attention..  For probably 3 days I guess I wasn't giving him my whole UNDIVIDED attention because even when I was playing with him he would scream.  It's a short scream.  Like a second.  He tightens his whole body up and pushes out that scream and it's loud and high-pitched.  I haven't got it on video yet.  I will.  It's awful though.  He hasn't done it for a few days so I'm hoping it was just a teeny phase.  Hopefully.

Well as for me I'm just doing what I always do, clean the house, care for the fam, do some hair on the side.  I've been missing the salon a lot lately.  I keep thinking I want to go out and work and put Baine in a daycare. Then when I actually start to think how I would do this, I can't leave him.  Not because I don't trust people and not because I think it's good for me.  Just because I think it's so good to have kids with other people besides there Mom's.  Maybe I'm wrong but Baine is getting to be a huge Mamma's boy and I want him to want to go with other people and trust them too.  I don't know.  I'll probably always stay at home as long as I can.  I guess it's good that there is family around that are willing to take him for me for a little bit if I need them too.

I really wanted to get Baines 6 month pictures done and well I can't afford to take him somewhere every time so I had my Mom take some pictures.  For Christmas my Dad gave her a really nice camera so they turned out really good. I've been trying to edit them so here are a few.  I'm not as good at editing as Jessica so I might have to send them over to her.  Haha.  

Nicki's Little Monster

Nicki came over one day right after christmas and we were doing her nails in the kitchen.  Brighten, her neice and Natty's little girl came strolling in the kitchen and told us that Brody pulled the tree down.  We laughed and I didn't believe her but Natty went to check and sure enough there it was.  He even undecorated it for me.  How nice.  :)  I want him to come over to break it some more so I can get a new one.  Hehehe.

Things he's doing

• Talking more and more.  I love it.  He will just jabber jabber to me and Brady thinking that we are having real conversations.  It's hard not to laugh but I try not to because he will cry thinking that I'm making fun of him.  
• Holds his bottle all by himself.
• Sits up like a champ.
• Puts the binkie in his mouth but can't figure out why it won't stay there.  (he won't let it go)

Pretty much he's just freaken amazing!

Denver/New Years

We went to Denver over New Years to a football game.  We went with our friends Nate and LeeAnn.  The 7-8 hour drive took us 12 hours to get there.  I-80 was closed on the way there because of the snow storm.  I saw my life flash before my eyes a few times on that drive.  Even though I was assured many times that we were fine.  I really have turned into the biggest baby ever since I wrecked my car 7 years ago.  You would think I would get over it but something about having the jaws of life having to cut you out......I'll never be the same.  I really missed Baine.  Next vacation he's coming and we are going some place warm.  I was that crazy Mom that kept calling and asking for picture mail.  (Thank goodness I live in this day and age)  I swear I looked at his pictures on my phone at least 3 times a day.  It was a little sad.  

It was fun to get away and to go with friends.  New Years Eve was a bigger deal in Denver than I thought it would be.  They had fireworks going off the top of buildings every hour to celebrate New Years everywhere. Market Street was packed full of people and stuff to do.  People had carts with stuff that they were selling.  Some were questionable.  

So I thought I was putting all the pictures in order but I didn't and I don't want to take the time to fix it so here is some pictures from Denver.....backwards.
